I don’t usually consider myself a Mustang guy, but then I drive this and I’m like wait...am I a Mustang guy? video to come...

Everyone is a Mustang guy. Some more secretly than others.

you are not until you run over a crowd

Look, the first time was an accident. You can get through this. You didn’t mean to hit him. You control your future, not the car, and you can choose not to become this. We’re here for you.

Haters be damned, that thing is gorgeous. Love that color scheme way more than the silver one I saw.

The new Mustangs are beautiful. I have yet to drive one, but can’t believe they hit such a home run on the looks. I don’t think Ford has ever done better on any car design before. And that's saying a lot, considering 120+ years of history.

The newest gen has turned a lot of us into Mustang people. It's so very good.

I like it more than the Z06. Just sayin...

I wasn’t a Mustang guy. Now I own one

I try to keep it secret.

It’s perfectly classic, CCC used to have a ‘65 GT350, that car taught me a lot about what muscle cars are really about.

I kind of agree. The styling is so aggressive but the drive is even better.

It’s less terrifying than a Z06.

Damn it happens that quick?

Only wish that they kept the Galaxie 500, imagine a 4 door variant of the Mustang. To me the Galaxie 500 is a better name than the Falcon, but the Falcon could have been a modern day 4 door sister car to the Mustang.

Yes it does....

This. Liked but never wanted one before this gen. When I saw it (was lucky enough to see them in the flesh 5 months before the reveal) for the first time, I knew I had to have one.

If not for government oversight and giant car seats, I might have gone into the Ford Dealership....

GT or GT350? I drove a regular GT PP and was rather disappointed. The 350 is a whole other animal.

You still can! Such a great car.

I guarantee that, at 6'4", I can not drive this car with two rear-facing car seats installed. In a few years when they're out of those rear facing fascist mechanisms, I may be looking...

I’m sure you’re right in that case, and that is unfortunate. Myself at 6'1 can barely fit a normal sized person behind myself. The ‘18-19MY cars will be pretty special...so maybe the wait will be worth it.

Ecoboost.
I drove the GT and Ecoboost back to back, and frankly was more impressed with the Ecoboost. The GT is certainly faster, but the Ecoboost is a great all around package: it feels balanced, it has more than enough power, and it gets great gas mileage. The 5.0 just isn’t that great of a motor IMO, I much prefer the LS3 in the last gen Camaro or the new LT1.

That is where I am at, next car is going to be something RWD with over 300hp. Drove the 5.0 and then a Vette Grand Sport (which are about 8k over budget) and now looking at a 1LE Camaro or a SS gen 6 Camaro either one of those or a Cayman S. Not sure, have till fall to decide.
